La consolidation du cadre d'action de l'Union africaine pour le maintien de la paix
Résumé
This article aims to identify and highlight the changes that have occurred in the political, institutional and operational environment of the African Standby Force as well as the peace support operations of the African Union. The contribution thus questions the improvements observed on the political-institutional levels and even on the ground of the action of the FAA and the AU PSOs. Indeed, the intervention of force and similar military mechanisms of the organization in the fight against terrorism appears to influence the renewal of the strategic thinking of the Pan-African institution.
Cet article se veut d'identifier et de mettre en évidence les changements intervenus dans l'environnement politique, institutionnel et opérationnel de la Force africaine en attente ainsi que les opérations de soutien à la paix de l'Union africaine. La contribution questionne ainsi les perfectionnements observés sur les plans politico-institutionnels et même sur le terrain de l'action de la FAA et des OSP de l'UA. En effet, l'intervention de la force et des mécanismes militaires assimilés de l'organisation dans la lutte contre le terrorisme parait influencer le renouvellement de la pensée stratégique de l'institution panafricaine.
