Résumé

Visit / live the Alps: towards a convergence tourists-residents? - The act of visit - an action that de "nes the practice guide - implies a particular sense of culture, species" that social and political practices of plans "territorial planning, long-de" ned as opposed to living in the Alps this distinction has become less and less relevant because of the increasing hybridization between territories recreational and residential functions in tourist areas. This paper considers the convergence tourists-residents using as an indicator the amenity migrations, offering examples of its manifestation in the French Alps, and pointing out the contradictions and the stakes in terms of the sustainability of this overlap of living / visiting in mountainous regions.
