Design of Electrically Small 3D Wire Antennas for UHF RFID applications Using Genetic Algorithm

Abstract : In this work, we discuss the design of electrically small antennas for UHF RFID tags. We implemented a genetic algorithm to design crooked-wire antennas that occupy a relatively compact size as small as 0.08λ, while exhibiting high efficiency and an acceptable radiation resistance value suitable for matching RFID chips.
