Design of Electrically Small 3D Wire Antennas for UHF RFID applications Using Genetic Algorithm

Résumé

In this work, we discuss the design of electrically small antennas for UHF RFID tags. We implemented a genetic algorithm to design crooked-wire antennas that occupy a relatively compact size as small as 0.08λ, while exhibiting high efficiency and an acceptable radiation resistance value suitable for matching RFID chips.
