Economic causes of wars. An historical essay

Abstract : There are strong links between war, economy, power and religion. Power and religion are often causes of war, just like the economy. The economists' analyzes of this question are becoming less and less numerous, as if wars were only a random phenomenon, almost impossible to take into account. Yet religious conceptions of economics, war, and peace do not give any priority at this purpose.
