Andre Wogenscky's early housing works (1956-70): The relation between body, interior atmospheres, and envelope

Abstract : For twenty years, André Wogenscky was one of the most devoted collaborators of Le Corbusier. This article discusses his early independent works (1956-70) on the relation between the human body, the architectural space and the c limate. A s an evolution of his master's lessons, this paper focuses on his approach to living atmospheres and the inhabitant's perceptions that apply to housing projects. lt is based on original research of Wogenscky's files at the Centre d'archives d'architecture du XXe siecle in the Institute français d'architecture.
