Im Fokus stehen dabei insbesondere die Beziehungen zur weiblichen Bevölkerung.
This text was written with Dr. Dorota Schreiber-Kurpiers. It explores the daily life of the occupying forces in Silesia from February 1920 until July 1922. French, Italian and British troops were sent to Silesia to pacify the region in order to organise the plebiscite in March 1921. We analyse their attitude towards the local population, in particular their relationship with Silesian women.
