Application of two-dimensional finite volume method to protoplanetary disks

Résumé

We investigate in this paper a hydrodynamical code in order to simulate the flow of gas and solid particles in protoplanetary disks. This code is devoted to explore planetary formation at the decoupling stage when the gas and solid phases are competing with one another. In this work our goal is to study the full time evolution of gas and particles around the star and is to characterize the Rossby wave instability in 2D.
